Write a Poem of Length
Poetry Contest
I have grown weary of very brief poems, and line limits by various websites for poems submitted in contests. For this contest, write a poem of 60-160 lines. Foot length of all lines must be at least 6 syllables. Must rhyme. You choose the rhyme and the story you wish to tell. This contest is not looking for 60+ lines of philosophical musings about a general subject - create a story and tell it in verse.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 126.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
