Everyone's Wrong About Science
This contest looks for essays or short works that convincingly explain why one part of science isn't right. Examples could be "Why Physics is Really Part of Chemistry" or "Why We Should Make Cooking a Science". Weird and wacky theories are welcome, but please do not take either side of any big controversies, i.e. origin science controversy, unless you have a new/unheard of side to present. Works may be as long or short as you need, up to 3000 words.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 28.00 member dollars. There are 11 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
