Halloween Horror Haiku
Poetry Contest
Get into the Halloween season writing a horror haiku. 5/7/5 Syllables OR LESS in a short/long/short pattern. First and second lines are connected grammatically; the last line (satori) should be an aha! moment. You don't need a season word (kigo). Title is whatever you decide. Artistic presentation is encouraged but not necessary. Let's have fun!
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool.
