It occurred to me today that I didn't offer a blind entry contest. Many authors enjoy these because the focus is not distracted from the writing by other elements.
Therefore: NO PICTURES to accompany the work, please, though author notes are welcome as they can clarify certain elements that may mystify some readers on this universal site. It is not necessary to include contest guidelines in these notes.
Write a story in any genre. No poetry please.
Minimum length 100 words. Maximum Length 2,000 words. Recommended length 100 - 2,000 words.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
