New beginnings with the trimmings,
serve to bring a song to sing;
turning life to worthy winnings,
let your inner spirit ring.
Sunny rays show promise daily,
in the treasured scenes they nest;
seeing is believing-- maybe,
paths we take, put to the test.
Open hearts will join the party,
toy with verbs, inspiring words;
attitude, when good, and hardy,
happiness is then transferred.
Start your year with something cheerful,
greet a friend with smiles no end;
hopeful dreams will help the tearful,
give support, and will defend.
