Marillion is David Nelson Bradsher, a self-constructed Byronic Hero (or Zero), flawed but well-meaning, simple but paradoxical, and still a work in progress.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) in 1989 with a B - more...

The Seal of Quality committee has rewarded him with 5 seals.

Observe the visage of the lyricist
Composing scathing but cathartic phrases.
He's either hurt, bemused, depressed or pissed
As he traverses through the standard phases.

Rejection is his tool which, when availed,
Is powerful and useful to a sage,
Whose best results are present when he's failed,
And in a fit of self-important rage.

But witness healing in the scribbled purge,
A record of the stages that transpire
As his denouncements teeter on the verge
Of cheeky madness, piqued by his desire.

Allow him room to rant, and soon you'll learn
That writing is his salve to cool the burn.

Author Notes
A Shakespearean Sonnet. Thanks for reading.

Catharcissist is a word I created for this, a mix of Cathartic and Narcissist. Since yesterday I wrote about a sociopath, I figured I'd stay in the same area of the psyche, and look at a narcissist. It's all about ME, after all. ;-)
