Swift sneaky rat outsmarted me.
"Rat-a-tat-tat I can't catch that rat"

I can't catch that darn speedy rat.
Truly a road runner dang fat butt rat.
Being chased around by my fast cat.
I even tried to hit him with my bat.
Rat-a-tat-tat I can't catch that darn rat.
On the rat trap, I put a piece of cheese;
but he said, "Give me some more, please."
Quick thinking rat caused a big mishap,
because sneaky butt sprung my rat trap.
Rat-a-tat-tat I can't catch that darn rat.
He's faster than the speed of lightning.
His sharp long teeth rather frightening.
Tired of living with this cunning mouse.
Running jumping all over my freaking house.
Rat-a-tat-tat I can't catch that darn rat.
With his long tail, he's swinging from my ceiling.
Almost jumped on me; my head started reeling.
Opened front door tried to run him outside;
but all he did was run his crazy butt back inside.
Rat-a-tat-tat I can't catch that darn rat.
Somebody help me; tell me what to do.
Smart rat has human qualities like me and you.
Rat won't eat rat food I put on the floor.
I fell flat on my face and my pants I tore.
Rat-a-tat-tat I can't catch that darn rat.

Seriously, I have a rat that crawled through a hole in the wall of my house, and I have been trying to get him out. Yes, I even called exterminators to try to trap him or her, but it didn't work. All he does is run around my home looking for food and biting into boxes of macaroni and chewing on clothes.
