Man likes the dog more than the cat
"I Am the Cat" by Flyaway1
I am the cat.
I live with a man and a dog.
The man ignores me.
The man will pay for that...

I am a proud cat.
I walk swishing my tail.
The man does not see me.
The man will pay for that....

I am the cat.
My silver, white hair is soft to
touch.
Yet, the man rubs the dog,
Instead of me.
The man will pay for that....

I am the cat.
I glow with self care.
The dog grins, drips drool
and has fleas.
The man will pay for that.....

I am the cat
I am not usually needy.
The dog sleeps in
my old spot- what!!!
The man will pay for that...

I am the cat.
This is my house.
The dog has invaded
my space.
The man will pay for that...

I am the cat.
I am very clever.
One day soon, I will slip
right out the door.
I will not come back.

"Consider all payment received in full."

Author Notes
A satire piece about the relationship between a man and his dog. The cat is the wife, who feels excluded and wants the man to notice her.
The cat is taking time to vent her feelings,

The Cat would not really leave in this story. The cat loves her man. Still not happy the dog has taken her man!!!

Enjoy- meant to be funny and sarcastic.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
