Given a chance to be with you
"All Over Again Ecstacy"

If even it only be an hour unlocked from time
and life's busy chain fortuned to be freed
given another glorious chance to be with you
can I free myself from duties, countless distractions
to soar with simmering feelings yet to have expressed
can I say then, how much I truly love you
how your love surges within me anew to
whisper desires so revered, too thrilling to even guess
Why should I allow mere good intentions
to pass up of feelings of this precious now, today?
dare I avoid a reassuring, "I love you" mere breath away
for a "Oh, I meant to" wishes of too many yesterdays?
why let a "I thought surely you already knew" turn
to belated regrets of "I should have known"
why neglect a "I need to be with you" replaced
by hurried almost kiss, by "Catch you later, dear!"
Yes, I must, and gladly make this time for you
what my heart is still stirring to ardently say
for you I can, I do, render these chains unlocked
yearnings won't wait for another time or day
or wished away for some more perfect time to arrive
what I feel and cherish most about you
must eye to eye, heart to heart, soul to soul be said
a fall in love all over again bliss of raptured epiphanies
