Chapter 5 of the book Saying Goodbye to Phyllis
such a talent and such a spirit
"Limericks for Phyllis" by Mark Valentine

1.) The morning sky o’er Naperville is
     More dreary today without Phyllis
     But heaven is brighter
     They gained a great writer
With talent as tall as the Willis

2). Sometimes when I feel a bit blue
In need of a smile or two
     I search the Fanstory
     “Humor” category
And have me a big Bowl of Stew

Recognized

The book continues with Goodbye is Not Always Easy. We will provide a link to it when you review this below.

Author Notes
Limerick 1 - Naperville, where Phyllis lived, is a suburb of Chicago. The Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) is Chicago's (and at one time was the world's) tallest skyscraper.

Limerick 2 - As most of you know, "Bowl of Stew" was a regular (and hilarious) Fanstory feature co-authored by Phyllis and Thomas Bowling.
