"On a train to London" by Colin Lowley
On a train to London these seats are free,
Everybody else at work, late am me,
should I put my feet up, as nobody can see?
Or do the right thing and keep them close to me?

This is not a question as you are not here,
my conscience has to answer, that is clear,
So I put them right up and fell asleep straight away,
it had been a long night my heavy eyes now lay.

I wake up in a sweat surrounded as I was ,
a pregnant lady struggling my feet at a loss,
I jumped up straight away and offered her my seat,
But then came the end of the line, as I made a red retreat.

Author Notes
Omg thank God it's not true lol, but I am on that train , with my feet down .
