"Win, Place, or Showtime" by Bill Schott

Faceless horse on skates,

worst of Preakness loser fates;

Kentucky Roller Derby.

Author Notes
Thanks to swimmer74 for use of the image.
The Preakness is one of the horse races which make up the Triple Crown.
The other two races are the Belmont Stakes and the Kentucky Derby.
Roller Derby is a team skating sport that is a mix of professional wrestling showmanship and dirty tricks while skating around on an elevated, circular track.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
