It's on the other side
"Where has all the water gone" by Colin Lowley
Where has all the water gone, where is it today?

It was all here yesterday, has it gone to play?

It will be back, it will be back in a while,

so why don't we talk and have a little smile?

Our moon is pulling one side, a bulge on our earth

while we spin around the sun, we can see all its worth,

a couple of times a day it will come in and then go out,

with all the fish swaying, as gravity pulls them about.

On the other side of the world, they swim away,

they can splash and have fun at certain times of day,

it will then head back with a gentle moving hush,

as we can see it coming, then don't we make a fuss.

Tomorrow it will be later as we move away from the sun,

15 minutes exactly as each day will overrun,

"Low tide" and "High tide" they even have a name,

remember when you're puzzled, the other feels the same.
