"Determined Dog" by persevere

The phone rang
"You have a healthy son"

The new father locked the house and raced to the car.

Along the road he noticed his dog running beside the vehicle.
Having no other option, he stopped and let him in.

He parked outside the nursing home and hurried up to the labour ward.

As he was welcoming his new born son and embracing his wife, a car was heard hooting down below.

This new dad had a feeling that the noise didn't herald an emergency.
He sped downstairs.

There sat his dog, in the driver's seat, with his snout on the hooter!!

This new dad was my husband and the determined dog had actually opened a window in the locked house to charge after the car.
