"Goodness and Mercy"

Goodness is following me
encouraging me as I walk;
Mercy follows close by
to rescue me, should I stumble
and begin to fall.

Surely good and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6
The idea for this poem came from a sermon my Pastor Scott Naill preached this day. He said that Charles Spurgeon said this about goodness and mercy being the foot soldiers in our lives
