"Sunshine" by Suzanna Ray
Sunshine, a great topic of interest, particularly if you live in the tropics where it disappears like magic and leaves folks in tears because their work is not done.
They need the light of the sun to see where they are going or what they are doing in this land of sudden darkness.

They have no light save for the glow of their cooking fires that allow only enough light  for tasks close by, like weaving or tanning of animal skins that lace the lattice of their shelters made of leaves and branches of the trees

Growing in abundance because of the sun and rain that also nurtures the few crops that they grow in the clearings where they chop down the trees to let in the Sunshine
