Digging day had finally arrived
Frankie Fox dug, and dirt dived
He planned to dig the coziest den
Hoping to woo his friend, Foxy Fin
Every time he tried calling his best coos
He was outdone, the whipping wind blew
Once they escaped the wind, in his cozy den
Frankie was sure Fin's heart he would warmly win!
Fin would forget suitors broke Ben and crazy Ken
He included the best things in his den
A kitchen, comfy couch, and a playpen
He wanted for him and Fin
To raise a little kin of ten!
Frankie was ready! He invited her to dinner
The den date was sure to be a winner!
He swept the dirt and set the table so nice
Complete with candles and a delicacy of mice
Fin's eyes grew with glowing glee
Frankie had dug to the utmost degree,
And added things that she didn't foresee
The extra effort made her butterfly's stir
The fancy feast made her pleasantly purr
Frankie's heart began to sing
He paced with the flower ring
He crouched on one tiny knee
"Fin, darling, will you marry me?"
She was impressed
Foxy Fin said yes!
Frankie's love nest
Passed the snug test
His den was best!
They had a wonderful wedding in the wild
Paw in paw, they marched and brightly smiled
The Foxes settled in to Frankie's den
It wasn't long when Frankie had to dig again!
The pups had arrived! They needed more room
Cozy kin in the den where their love bloomed
