a 20 line poem
"lethargic lotharios"

Reluctant Valentinos
hiding in the shadows
Lonely little Romeos,
dodging Cupid's arrows.
Ducking down dark alley ways,
~poof~ they disappear.
Not a chance of romance
if that little imp comes near.
Avoiding troth at any cost
always keeps them worrying.
Just the thought of love,
will set their feet a'scurrying.
Valentine day sunrise
in layers of lacey red,
lethargic lotharios
under covers, stay in bed.
Hoping they are immune
warily they rise.
That's when fickle Cupid
hits them right between the eyes.
