I love the poetry in country songs
"Life's Country Song"

Most lives flow like a country song,
with good and bad that comes along.
Sometimes the good outnumber bad,
but, others are heartfully sad.
There's births and deaths along the way
but, peace between oft saves the day.
Unfaithfulness thickens the plot,
when love runs cold and passions hot.
When drinking enters in life's game,
we lay the cost on those we blame.
Gambling oftimes adds to the cost
and many on that road are lost.
I love to hear a country song,
just listen, never play along
and when my turn has come to go,
I'll revel in life's precious show.
