A sad situation
"Talking With Grandpa"

Gosh,I loved to talk with Grandpa,
about his many days of yore.
He had been a lifetime farmer.
His monetary wealth was poor.
His memories were very good,
about things from the distant past;
Some amusing, some confusing,
many were gone, they did not last.
Now, I'm old, have many grandkids,
whom I'm lucky to ever see.
They are busy with their gadjets,
that's leaving little time for me.
I'd really like to say to them,
to keep their memories afloat.
You had better park your gadjets,
join me in this oldtimers boat.
