Look to the right of the guy who votes and chases money,
wearing the hottest name brands nervously,
desperate to impress, ignoring the scenery,
wondering how he can exploit humanity,
hoping folks won't need his energy,
who isn - more...

Today I move out of my home and soon my room will be
a chamber for nostalgia. My dear folks will think of me
and they'll look back on eighteen years and see me growing tall.
They'll close their eyes and trace the lines they drew upon the wall
to chart how close my noggin' was to reaching outer space
or so my father used to say; (I'll miss his smiling face.)

Today I reconsider 'home', and call my faith my guide.
Unafraid I pour this poem, and sip the open wide.

Tonight I'll sleep alone...alone, and where I'll be I know
I'll wonder at the meaning of an act like 'leaving home'
and also I will miss you, so I'm leaving you this poem.

I won't address the rest because you feel it anyway.
How wild and blue the open view you've granted me today!
I'm ready to fill the distance that has always been at bay.
I'm ready to ride the clever clouds that scatter us this way.

The book continues with Entangled. We will provide a link to it when you review this below.

Author Notes
I went ahead with the decision to use vowels in this one, for those who have a vowel sensitivity there is always the option to superglue your eyelids shut, though I have been advised by a random voice in my head to mention that in no way does Xylok or any affiliated Xylokian speaker mean to imply, lionize or advocate the super-gluing of one's eyes together. There is always guessing at what the consonants are and not looking at the text, which would all but guarantee you'd not have to endure the visual vowel onslaught. If bricks replaced all chest hairs, right now, it would be interesting to see what the estimates for how much weight that would add to our species might be!

Thanks for stopping by ;)
