Christmas Day

The little babe is born today
And laid in a manger filled with straw.
All the world goes to knee to pray
Giving thanks to God about to open heaven's door.

The child named Jesus will grow wise and strong.
Strength to carry the cross on which to die
That all mankind can sing redemption's song.
Wise in obedience, the Father's will to live by.

Angels sing the glory of His birth
That He is the long awaited Messiah
Come to love everyone upon the earth.
His sacrifice of his life for them His only desire.

Gather round the manger everyone.
Sing praise to Him for what is to be done.
