Marillion is David Nelson Bradsher, a self-constructed Byronic Hero (or Zero), flawed but well-meaning, simple but paradoxical, and still a work in progress.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) in 1989 with a B - more...

The Seal of Quality committee has rewarded him with 5 seals.

Thy Will Be Done

The sonnet— simply stated— is a box,
A fourteen-line progression of a thought
Da-DUMming through three quatrains till it docks
Adroitly with a couplet (once it’s caught).
The sonnet is a storm, a tempest tethered
By syllables within its worded cage—
A force of measured texture, smoothed and weathered
By its conveyance from another age.
But in the spirit of the honored Bard,
We lend our ears to hear of love in rhyme,
And find the mind that primed the avant-garde
Still frees the scribes who keep iambic time.
Entreating to thy Will, we leech the pen
To bleed immortal ink — as mortal men.
