Chapter 11 of the book Let's Laugh 5
humor
"That's My Job" by Barb Hensongispsaca
A great garbage collector, I collect all kinds of things,
from smelliest of garbage to the perfect diamond rings.
As I go 'bout my business, I will always try to sing ...
"A great garbage collector, I collect all kinds of things".

One day as I was sorting through the garbage on my truck,
I had a tearful moment, I could not believe my luck.
She was so gorgeous sitting there just smiling back at me.
She was not real of course I knew, but, she was company.

Another day collecting and you won't believe my find.
I knew right when I found it, it was just one of a kind.
I still don't know just what it does; it's pretty as can be.
It's up is down, and, down is up. I hung it in a tree.

I have a little business, and, it is just right for me.
I gather all the garbage up that no one wants. You see.
Now even though they're beaten, rusted, black and blue and bent,
for me they are good presents that are first class heaven sent.

A great garbage collector, I collect all kinds of things.
From smelliest of garbage to the perfect diamond rings.
I go about my business I will always try to sing ...
"A great garbage collector, I collect all kinds of things."
