Knock! The door to Love shall open...
"The Reality of Love!" by junglefighter

The Reality of Love!

*Dedicated to Janny Pan Jan*
(Laura Jan Lodle)

**********

True love creates
passion's heart-felt memories,
amore's scrapbook.

Love is seeing baby deer, feeding near--and slow falling rain.
Awaking from a dream of fishing in a stream--
catching speckled mountain trout.

Reality is seeing autumn leaves fall from the trees--spiraling
in the breeze--then walking on the ground--
as little squirrels scamper for nuts.

Love is drinking coffee from our cups, feeding little fuzzy pups--
wagging hellos with their tails.  Listening
to baby birds chirp in their nest.

Reality is watching a mother smile, kissing her child--
wiping all the sad tears from it's eyes.
While thanking God for His gift.

Love is sharing hugs, singing happy songs with friends and
yet, above all others, love is the reality--
of loving one another!

******************
Knock--and the door to our hearts and minds shall open--
"Welcome home, Angel"

Author Notes
The "Reality of Love," is a many splendor thing. It's the April Rose that only grows in the early Spring. Love is natures way of giving--the reality of living, the golden crowns that makes us King and Queen. Once on a high and windy hill--in the morning mist, two lovers kissed, and the world stood still. Then our fingers touched our silent hearts and taught them how to sing. True Love, "Is a many splendor thing." Back some time ago, I met Laura Jan Lodle, who we call on FanStory, "Jannypan(Jan)." She is an awesome writer and her wings have touched my heart and melted it like "butter in the sun." Dedicating this poem to Laura, "Is an honor!" As always, thank you for reading my work wherever you are. Note" amore's, is a secret or illicit love affair.
