Author Notes
I won a print at a New Year's party by Cheryl Christiansen, a California artist, which inspired me to create this 5-7-5 about the artwork. I had no room for more art, but the picture demanded I make space for it! My thanks to FanArt for supplying a lovely stand-in. Ekphrastic means a vivid description of a visual work of art--I hope I have succeeded in capturing some of the drama of the scene.
