We must teach our children how to stay safe.
"Teach our children stranger danger." by Liberty Justice
W orld we live in can be evil, cruel and threatening.
A lways know where your children are at all times.
T alk to your children about safety and strangers.
C all your children and have a secret code for emergencies.
H ug your children and tell them you love them.

Y ou should not allow them to walk anywhere by themselves.
O ffer solutions that are fair and solve problems.
U nderstanding your child's or children's worries is very important.
R espect and honor are important for children to learn.

C heck their email and social media accounts often for any hidden dangers.
H eed warning signs of your child's change in moods, grades and attitudes.
I ndicate to your young ones that they obey your rules and curfews.
L isten to your children's opinions and concerns.
D on't be too harsh, but don't be too tolerant, either.
R emember to keep names and addresses of all their friends and associates.
E motions are oftentimes what children react to rather than reason.
N ever allow your children to make excuses to abuse illegal or legal drugs.

Acrostic Poem writing prompt entry

Writing Prompt
Write an acrostic poem. Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same words as in the title. See an example in the announcement.

Author Notes

Thousands of people go missing in the United States each year and many are never heard from again.

*****According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, roughly 800,000 children are reported missing each year in the United States -- that's roughly 2,000 per day. Of those, there are 115 child "stranger abduction" cases each year, which means the child was taken by an unknown person.*****

Oftentimes, we, as parents might know how to handle and work with our children; but, through being tired, frustrated and stressed ourselves, we might not always sit down with our children like we should.

Did you know approximately, 950,000 or more women, children, even boys and men turn up missing almost every year? I will gather more statistics later. Some turn up; some are taken by family members; and, some are met by foul play. SEE THE NEWS REPORTS.
