Walking the pathway of yesterday, today and forever!
"Forever together!" by junglefighter

"Written by my wife, and given to me, moments before her death"

When your nights seem long and lonely,
and your bed feels cold and bare,
then in your dream you try and kiss me,
and you find that I'm not there.

Just reach out and touch my picture,
make a wish then say a prayer.
Then in the morning, you'll wake and find,
that I'm sitting in my chair.

Oh, our love shall bloom on forever,
like a winter's rose in the snow.
And the sweet fragrance of its petals
shall linger on as you grow.

Yes, we planted pink roses in the garden,
fed the baby bear and deer.
As we walked hand-in-hand together,
I whispered, "I love you," in your ear.

Together we climbed the highest mountain,
reached up and touched the Face of God.
Now, our love shall bloom forever,
like the roses in their pods.

"Happy Valentine's Day," Angel!

A special note:  My wife and Dolly Parton, (Dollywood) were 'Joined-at-the-hips' when growing up in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  Dolly want's to record 'Forever together', and dedicate it to my wife.  Sweet Jesus--"What an awesome honor!"  Please, read the authors note...

Author Notes
Back in August of 2016, my wife died with a blood clot in her leg. Just moments before closing her eyes, she handed me this poem and said, "I know it seems so little that I do and yet, this was written from my heart. So, keep and read it when you're missing me--then bring it along when you join me, in Our Fathers Kingdom." Oh, my God! We were 'Soulmates," and losing her, literally broke my heart. She is an Angel now, and shall be reading this from above. "Happy Valentine's Day," Angel! As always, thank you for reading my work. A "Special thank you," to, avmurray for the awesome artwork.
