Hurricane Flo whipped through East Coast
"Hurricane Flo Slapped East Coast" by Liberty Justice
H urricane Flo came through the East Coast 135 mile winds.
U nleased its' fury upon the Carolinas.
R ipped trees off roots tossed onto homes.
R an over vehicles throwing these into rivers.
I solated families helpless and hopeless, no flood insurance on their homes.
C ut off from world surrounded by the ocean.
A gencies of helpers sent rescue helicopters.
N o clean drinking water for thirsty survivors.
E lectricity and gas cut off for weeks with darkness prevailing.

F looded streets water rose to waders' waists as they also rescued dogs.
L eft on rooftops were people stranded for days at a time.
O verflowing into houses, Hurricane Florence washed away possessions.
R ooftops touching the water, proof of destruction and chaos.
E ndless prayers SHOUTED out to God for fast deliverance and salvation.
