Coming to the Hallmark Channel in 2019
"A Christmas Proposal" by Mark Valentine
A Christkindl market somewhere in Bavaria
Pathways illumined by quaint luminaria
You’re tired of walking – I offer to carry ya
Away from the bustle and Yuletide hysteria

We sit on a bench in a less-crowded area
I pull out a ring and promise to marry ya
To honor and cherish and always take care o’ ya
Should you get the measles, the mumps, or malaria

And then when you die, in the best cemetery, a
Spot ‘neath a tree is where I will bury ya
