 Can't penetrate a brick wall
"Searching" by DALLAS01
Where are the rhythmic sensations
of yesteryear's volcanic flow,
that once set my pen afire?
Why was that dying voice
silenced-sent adrift
on creativity's dying pyre?
When will hunger's phantom flame
stop teasing and tormenting me
with successes I once claimed?
What does this vacuum spell
in heart and soul erased,
lost words that won't be written
remembered or embraced?
