Story of my life
"From Rags to Riches" by Susan Larson

I was born in a chicken coop in Appalachia in 1947. When I was four, we moved to Erie PA, on a great lake, where my life was like a 1960's Beach Blanket movie. When I graduated, I defied my parents' wishes for me to get married and mass produce Catholic babies.
I simultaneously worked three jobs to put myself through college. I married who I thought was a nice guy, but who turned out to be philosopher who didn't believe in working for a living. While I was teaching, he screwed around. I was thankful to get out of that marriage with no STDs.
Second time around I married Prince Charming and have lived like a queen ever since. Even though we lost two of our four children, we cherish our life together and adore our grandkids.
We now live on a lake where I write happily ever after.

Writing Prompt
Write the entire story of your life in no more than 150 words. You can be experimental, creative, funny, serious, provocative, reflective, whatever style you best feel represents your life. You must write about your entire life, not just a moment of it. No poetry (too easy). No fiction (YOUR life), although metaphors are acceptable so long as they are directly interpretable to be about your life. You'll be surprised at what your life looks like in 150 words...
