"Tell Me, Tell Me True" by Sugarray77
Golden, golden sand,
grains slip slowly through my hand,
falling quietly onto land,
that's older than the ocean's ageless roar.

Starry, starry night,
jaded hopes deflect your light,
night birds soar in cloudless flight,
and search for meaning on the linen shore.

Help me understand...

Windy, windy breeze,
sing a song of textured ease,
rippled tunes of birds and bees,
that speaks to me and leaves me wanting more.

Tell me, tell me, true;
will there be a me and you?
Something tethered, something blue;
a new life leading through an open door?

Help me understand...

Author Notes
This is written in abstract... they are uncertain where this relationship is going... time is slipping by and they are unsure how the other feels. They search for meaning and wonder if the other person shares the desire for a permanent relationship.

Can be read to the tune of Starry, Starry Night.

Inspired by Miss Merrys ... frosted air guitar solo...
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
