A Short Fiction Story
"Killer" by Sandra Elizabeth Williams

Liz lifted herself from the floor. Her mother's hurtful words resonated, "You'll never amount to anything." She dabbed her eyes. It was now or never. She put one foot in front of the other and was out the door with the only weapon she had.

Liz moved, eyes fierce, hips swaying. She heard the uproar. She walked back down the catwalk, mission accomplished. Joe hugged her and whispered, "Baby, you killed it! You're a star!"
