Poetry
"Grassy, Grassy Fields" by Sugarray77
Blowing, blowing breeze,
playing there among the trees,
awakening the melodies
that sings a song that stirs a dormant land.

Grassy, grassy fields,
crowned with golden daffodils,
swaying there upon the hills
in colors painted by a brilliant sun.

Now, I understand,
a silent, unseen hand
weaves the light in glinting prism hues.

Tender, tender days,
sweetness in your youthful gaze,
your merry eyes and winsome ways
draw velvet tethers round my willing soul.

Now, I understand,
a silent, unseen hand
weaves the light in glinting prism hues.
