In the beginning was the ocean.

For a moment, a piece of the ocean became a wave; a discrete entity with boundaries. It raced forward, breathed free, and reflected the sun. It was exhilaratingly beautiful and full of color. Then the wave returned to the ocean that birthed it. Such a brief existence.

But what a ride it had been!
