 A different type of morning
"Morning has spoken" by DR DIP
MORNING HAS SPOKEN

Morning has spoken
It has without warning
We have awoken
To a strange dawning

Our world has now changed
Virally, rearranged
No conversation exchanged
OH MY GOD what have we done!

Laws now a token
Promises broken
No more are we jokin'
No more having fun

This is our new world
No more, are hands held
All morals are upheld
It really is, so bad

Only memories we now hold
To warm us, from this cold
As we all watch, Earth unfold
Into something so sad

It's not a parody
It's really a travesty
Hope everyone, can see
I write this, from the heart

Let's hope a new morning
Gives us better warning
With each virus it's spawning
We need to know from the start

Cat Stevens sang about it
It's time we all tout it
We don't want to doubt it
We all need, to start anew

Let's hope a new tomorrow
Truly brings less sorrow
For beg, steal or borrow
This is what we pursue
