Chapter 6 of the book Fantasy Eye
Alexia and Holly go to fairyland number one.
"Fairy land number one." by Anne-Marie brison

Alexia Keene is a girl that discovers that humans aren't the only occupants in the world.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Well, actually I don't think it's fair for me to say that, scince my eyes were showing me some pretty weird, ok extremely weird stuff, like my snaky history teacher. (Oh yeah, that reminds me, I forgot to ask Holly about that.) And Holly herself. Hey, it's not every day a pudgy, red-faced, rabbit eared guardian bear cratster saves your life, then drags you off a roof into what she calls the Sunset Portal!

Ugh!! Now I can't remember where we were!! Oh yeah, now I remember. I looked around and gasped, right? Yes. Okay, you know like In the evening, a little before sunset when it has just finished raining? How fresh and clean and beautiful everything is? Well, multiple that golden hazy beauty by twenty, and you got a pretty accurate picture of what I was seeing. Fields of rich, emerald green long grasses stretched to meet even greener woodlands. Exquisite wildflowers gleamed like precious jewels. Bird calls filled the sweet smelling air. Overhead, the sky glowed with wisps of gold and blue. And a golden haze brushed it at all.

There. That's the best I can do to describe it. I turned to Holly after feasting my eyes on the lushes beauty. "Where are we?" I asked breathlessly. Holly grinned, and this time, I knew for sure it was a grin, and not a snarl. Her gray rabbit ears wiggled. "We are Fairy land one, the location of the first headquarters!" "Fairy land one," I frowned. "Does that mean there's fairy land two and three?" Holly nodded vigorously. Surprisingly, her tufts of brown hair stayed in place. "Yes, but this is the biggest and most important of them all!"
"Okay, I think I'm actually getting used to the weird stuff," I muttered as I followed Holly across knee-length grasses toward the greenest forest.
