Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
The game of life can be daunting at times
"I Thought I could Play Too" by equestrik
I thought I could play too.
But, no, in this game of life,
There are endless rules of engagement,
And so many forms of exclusion.

I fight to maintain and move forward,
Don't want to silently slip backward,
Into a place that others deem I belong.
Just because it is an easy fit.

I want to play the game, I want a chance to win.
I don't mind a few bruises, or being kicked around a bit,
I want to play and not be wistfully staring,
Through the diamonds in the chain-link fence.

Seeing those who get to play,
At the highest level,
With the best of tools,
I want to play too.
