You're shaping the future in ways you cannot imagine...
"What Have You Wrought?" by Y. M. Roger

As fire through dry kindling burns
‘Neath hallowed canopies of old,
So too young minds, they quickly learn
From frequent lies that they’ve been told.

When violence is brought to bear
While lofty
breath of peace yet speaks,
Young hearts shall swiftly find despair
Midst turmoil’s loud, discordant beats.

‘Tis said an angry heart grows
cold,
But what of one lost in confusion?
Will candor break that pain’s threshold,
Smashing through inane illusion?

Remember, even
ice can burn
As cool deception rules the day…
Young hearts and minds will ne’er unlearn
Accords of tumult now at play.
