Doors left to bang and creak
as breeze blows through
Ghostly whispers

Groups of teens looking for fun
Skateboard park now defunct
Movie theaters there no more
Bowling alley broken down

no children’s laughter

Elderly people's social visit
There is no 'people watching'
To live vicariously through

A once thriving hub, dying
A place to buy, and socialize
Segregated into online commerce,

Culled interaction from the virus
Curtailed, never to be the same

Humans seem less important
Than technology and wealth

More stress for paying bills Disruption of lifestyles
Jobs lost, money wasted

As technology advances,
more businesses
will be forced to die
and disintegrate into SKELETONS
