Dolphin Dreaming.
Such a charming story! Is it an original tale or just made up for the message, listen to your elder or you will end badly? Either way, I thought it nice, with a good authentic tone in it. I am not an Aussie, never been there, but heard of Billabongs and Maoris, of dry inlands and of coastal plains. It was with joy I read this story with so many elements of Australia in it. Lovely how the children were turned into dolphins.

Hello Marjon, Yes, it is a legend. My grandmother was aboriginal. All the chapters of this book are lessons for the young and not so young.
    Thanks so much. Blessings, Kay.

I am, in general, interested in all cultures in the world, that I do know little or nothing about. Yours is certainly one of those.

The Young Hunters
An excellent work. I love the story, the plot and the scene. Indeed it does no good amassing so much, just take what is needed. The earth spirit indeed tried misguiding the young hunters, thank God they didn't yield. Their compassionate heart and contentment finally paid off. Well done. A nice job.

I do like it for its subject matter of which I am fond of.
Beautifully penned and easy to read also for children accept for the pronunciation of the Aborigine words that should be added I think within the foot notes. The walk about story lined content is interesting with its daily spiritual moral and right behaviour and preservation of Mother Earth due to the Dream time educational rules. There is a printng mistake at the eighth paragraph: argueing/arguì gli.Thank for sharing.
Great job!

A pretty good narrative that takes you right into some time-honored hunting bush with several points of view as characters. I like the inclusion of a spirit or one not of this world. These days not many would listen or even think about other levels of awareness. Good education about native language.

Oh, this is a very nice chapter to your book, Kace. Well written and interesting. I enjoyed your folk tale and the meaning of your story of the boy hunters and the animals. Marilyn

This was amazing, I really enjoyed the concept of sky walking the rainbow. Terara became Jayawah and enjoyed the freedom of the sky. I am still amazed that between the cultures there are so many similarities. Very well done, thanks again for sharing.

I liked this one, Kay. It once more showed that each person is their own person, not to be owned or controlled by someone else. These stories all portrayed fantastic morals and the truths of life, but told them in an easy to understand way. Very enjoyable to read, to learn from and indeed to live by. Thanks for sharing.

The Song Bird
This was a beautiful story, Ma-Ma was elderly but she had great wisdom which she learned from the stories and she felt the need to share all the stories she could with others. Her latest goal was with her grandchildren, she shared the story of the bluebird and of Goomidgie who then welcomed her to heaven. Another great story, well done, thanks for sharing.

LOL its my off time, I am caught up on chores-like it takes an hour to vacumm, dust, mop floors then another day I change the bed and do the laundry and tada that's it for a week, unless I am moving, then I have to secure the bits and pieces and usually spend a day on the road, then re set up, it actually doesn't take long. About every three weeks I get in a baking mode so I make cookies or peanut butter cups (they are better than reeses lol).

The Desert Rose
I loved this, despite the cruelty that happened along the way. It was a great story of true love and that the Desert Rose Tree helped the lovers and provided an ongoing reminder. It was sad that Jabiru first knew his time, his life was done and that he died after telling the story. Very well done, thanks again for sharing.

I have three Desert Rose trees growing in my garden. They are very slow. However, in Singapore they are in a controlled environment and grow to 30 ft! Thank you sister. XXK.

reply by aryr on 22-Aug-2018
Wow if they grow so slow maybe I could get a little one and then just plant it somewhere before I die lol

reply by the author on 22-Aug-2018
One of ours is three years old and only a foot high. Plenty of time. Don't water it too much; after all it is a desert tree.

The Ghost Cave
I really enjoyed the last few chapters where the people asked the animal permission for taking its life and releasing its spirit. Our belief was to take only a animals life for food, that we prayed for the spirit and gave thanks for it giving up its life. We also used everything, the meat, the bones, the skin, the bladder- all of the animal were used. Thanks for sharing.

Yes indeed, nothing was wasted. The bladder for carrying water, bones for implements, skin for warmth and so on. Much the same as your mob. XXK.
