See Emma Swim
Looks like a good doggy swimming place. She looks like she is having a lot of fun. Your poem makes for good reading as well. Evk

Hi Evi. Thank you. Emma does like the water. I was happy to find this dog school with a pool. Marilyn

See Emma Swim
I gave my chihuahua a bath when he got itchy and his rage was unbounded. He was considering biting me, I think...I can't imagine his reaction to water deep enough to swim in...this poem is straightforward, charming, and true to the bookends form...excellent.

Hi Red. Emma likes the water. In the winter here in Wisconsin, I think she gets cabin fever even though she goes for rides in the car with me. The pool swim seemed to be something she liked. We'll do it again.

So--a chihuahua for you? I thought it would be a big old basset hound. I had one of those once--no shrinking violet. My daughter has a chihuahua. Marilyn

My pal was a 95 pound pit bull Dalmation mix...he died in 2015... the chihuahua was my wife's constant companion and I inherited the contrary little cuss...

I've had 4 "pit bulls." All rescues. Sweet dogs, bum rap--like some other breeds--German Shepherds, Rotties and so on. Whichever needs a home is the one that finds me. I inherited my husband's Jack Russell Terrier--16 lbs. of dynamite. She passed away of old age a few months ago, but I still have Emma, a mixed breed, part pit bull--sweet.

Unity is Strength
Powerful words not just for the 4th but for every day where our country is becoming so divided. Let us all use our talent to remind others of what we have, while there is still time.

Hi Jean. Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I agree that we can disagree without hatred. We all share a common goal on the welfare of our wonderful country. Marilyn
