Eric and the Pharoahs
OMGollly, Sandra! This is stellar writing! I believe I have a new favorite children's author. I'm going to purchase Eric's Epic Adventures for my grandkids' Christmas!
I've just gotten word that I'm to get packed up and ready to take off, so I'll finish reading this back home. I'm loving it!

Blessings and thank you so much for this post!

I enjoyed writing that one, it's the third book in the set of four I wrote for Eric, my grandson. I might write some more later.
Eric is dyslexic and was really struggling with his reading. He wasn't doing very well at his normal school and had the micky taken out of him for that. My son decided he would find a school that would help him, and he did. The school is for special needs children, and he's doing so much better. While he was at the other school, he came to see me and picked up one of my other children's books, he flicked through the pages but couldn't read them. He looked at me and asked if I could write a story about him as a hero. Bless his heart, what could I say?

He had a new bike for his 10th birthday, and an idea was born. The bike with a special gadget took him and his drone Herby back in time to the dinosaurs. The story takes him to meet aliens and go to another planet. Eric's Epic Adventures had started. I had it finished in time for his Christmas present. The look on his face made my life! All the covers have his picture on them. I hope you enjoy reading it. Thank you, my friend, you have made my day today! Thank you so much for the six stars, and have a safe journey home. :)) Sandra xx

The FINAL CHAPTER of Book 3!
I've only read the chapter title so far...but it is bittersweet that thesis the last chapter. I enjoy reading your work so much!

Herbie flew up to the coffin and looked in. "It's okay, Eric, you can't see the King's body. It's wrapped up in bandages, just like these mummies, and it has a mask over its face." -I love that you reassure the readers that it's ok to look at the Kings body. Well done!!

"What's it doing?" he whispered, blinking rapidly in order to ease the strain on his eyes. He didn't want to close them in case he missed something.~ LOVED this as well!!

Well, the ending implies more stories to come, I hope. Your grandson is going to be over the moon with this story. What a gift. Well done, my friend. Congratulations on the awards! Well earned.

Ahh, Sandra, such fun for Eric. I'm guessing your grandson really enjoyed this adventure. :-)

Fun, satisfying ending to this story. I'll bet Eric can't wait for the next one!

One correction:

For the next hour or so, Eric, Herbie and Zig had so much fun floating around in the gravity free room. But all to (too) soon it was time to go home.

What a great story and I do hope Eric goes on to more adventures.

I picked up just two small points:
But all to soon it was time to go home - should be 'all too soon'

And surely he'd want to know - there is an extra space between the first two words.

Cheers
Judy

I've just started a new adventure. My husband's fault, he came up with an idea I just had to go for!! Lol. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

The Burial Chamber
I'm dashing off to read the final chapter!

Just a few points but ignore them if I've got them wrong.

"That sounds like a plan to me," Eric said with more than a little relief. - should there be a comma after 'said'? I'm not sure so really just drawing your attention to it.

The next second the bubble was spinning like a tornado forcing the boys to cling to each other while Herbie's landing gear had taken a tight hold of the handlebars. - commas after 'second', 'tornado' and 'while'

"You could do with some mouthwash, Mate!" - lower case for 'mate'?

"What do I do?" He shouted, staring at the magic gold ring on his right hand index finger. - lower case for 'he'

Noah turned to face the mummy, and in the ancient Egyptian language he slowly told them the reason they were here. - comma after 'and' and 'language'

Cheers
Judy

Thank you, big time, Judy! I've made all the corrections, now to do the same on my MS Copy. That was so lovely of you. I'll be going through it now with a fine tooth comb to see if I've missed any in the whole book. Thank you again, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

The FINAL CHAPTER of Book 3!
What a captivating story. I jumped in at the last minute. Now I have to go back and read it all from start to finish. Just got back from losing a brother in November and the funeral, welcoming family who came from overseas, that was hectic and not at all expected to lose him in such a hurry. The only consolation is he met his creator within 2 hours of falling ill.
Look forward to your next story
All the very best Sandra
Sylvia

Oh Sylvia, I am so very sorry. That was so sudden, what a shock for you and your family, but I'm glad he didn't suffer. I'm sure he'll be up there, looking down and watching over you. I am so sorry, my friend.

Thank you so much for the six stars, Sylvia, and your lovely comments. I really appreciate them. My next one will be starting on Sunday! lol. Biggest hugs, dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

The FINAL CHAPTER of Book 3!
-Great artwork!
-A grand finale to the book, Sandra.
-I loved it, and it was a little emotional at the end
because it was so unexpected but wonderful.
-I liked the "glowing ankh." That was
a good touch to this adventure.
-Now I understand the part in the
middle when Herbie gets upset at Noah
about the ring. You are quite clever!
-It was great to see Drozig and Zig, although
we were always seeing him, and didn't know it:)
-Drozig is such an endearing character.
-I can't say enough about how you
pulled it all off; Eric is going to love this story.
-You really know your aliens and how they
solve things with all kinds of gadgets; maybe
you should apply for the space program, ha, ha!
-The ending section of the story is excellent
as Eric and Herbie learn of everything that had been planned.
-Of course, goodbyes are never easy!
-Well done, my friend!

Aww, Pam, thank you, what a really lovely review! Me on the space program? Now there's a thought! lol. I would love to have lived in a time when space travel was the norm, and it would be like hopping on a bus. Hmm. I'd have loved that. Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars and this wonderful review, my friend. :)) Big hugs, Sandra xxxx

Now, my dear, wonderful friend, I have some news for you!
Graham was sitting at the breakfast table this morning and said, 'Eric and the Aqua-beings' DaDah! I'll PM you. Not sure of the right title yet but that will give you an idea. :)) xxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Sandra. I didn't think I was too far off; you know those aliens too well, ha, ha. I read your message and gave my guesses. And here I thought I was going to read some poetry! Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thank you so very much for the wonderful six stars, Robyn, and for the really nice comments. No, I'm in the UK. I'll send you a copy when it's published, :)) You are so sweet. I have to tell you, I wasn't going to write anymore Eric stories for a while, but my dear husband has just given me an idea and I can't wait to write it now. We will be going to Atlantica next. But this will obviously be the true story!!! LOL. Thank you so much for all the encouragement, my friend. You've been great. :)) Sandra xxx
