Hello Ralf.

Anna is in a really tough situation. It is an unusual situation but I understand how that could be be dispiriting. She is looking for things to fill basic needs in her life and marriage.

The problem is to me that filling needs with substitutes might no be enough.

Robert

You are so fortunate to have come from a large and loving family. I was born into a military family and we moved so much...every three or four years. That is why I do not have any lifelong friends. This is a lovely writing and I really felt your love for your family members. It is a wonderful thing to have so many special people helping to raise you and teach you. Smiles, Janet

Very interesting story I enjoyed reading it. Keeps the reader wondering what's coming next. Very well written. I like your perseverance and determination to do the portraits in spite of your husband being afraid you couldn't do it. You were up to the challenge. Very nice read.

Thank you Raffaelina Lowcock with a smile.
I enjoyed reading you touching story when you were four. I found your writing about the surprising time you opened a big box and found a tricycle, for your birthday. Your aunts remind me of my loving aunt who pampered me.

Thank you Gert. You have gone to my first chapter. Yes, those were the days when aunts were around all the time and so loving.
I am so pleased you enjoyed reading it.

This is rather interesting Ralf, In times of the patriarchs, the betrothal was the most important part of the covenant between a man and a woman, but the consummation was the marriage. You're doing a great job with this story Ralf, well done, blessings Roy

Thank you Roy your review is heartening. Writing the story is like living through it all again and I can't quite believe how naive we were in those years.

Interesting chapter about a real life problems that would have a serious impact on a marriage. You did a great job of making it believable and including some of the possible reactions to try to help in dealing with the situation. Bill

Hi, Ralf This chapter is very well done from start to finish. You have obviously learned the benefit of SHOW versus TELL. And you realize how dialogue moves a story along.

Good images throughout too.

Suggestion, if I may: In this paragraph,

"We went to see it on a Saturday. It was perfect. The kitchen was on the second floor and so was the bathroom. There was a large bedroom on the third floor as well as a very large living room that was separated by a very roomy hallway. (Try to avoid the repetition of words, like in this the word "very" (Minor, but it all counts.)

Good job, Bob

What a lovely surprise. Thank you Bob. Your words are so meaningful to me. When I was complimented in one of the reviews I received, I mentioned who my coach was. LOL. You have no idea how much this means to me.
Yes, you are right. I do have a tendency to use that word too often. I will edit.

    I appreciate you.

Wow.... certainly a unique story with 2+ years of marriage with no sex- really hard to wrap one's mind around, to be honest. Sounds like 'stress' isn't the only issues that Les has... But you are still smiling and the story is being told so very well... keep going! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette
