What a wonderful look at Adeje. I have never heard of this place, but I was trying to picture each scene you described so well. I would love to visit this place.

A very well-written introduction about your second home in Spain with different temperatures and beautiful sunsets that you can enjoy from your home about every day.

You opened my eyes. Adeje looks terrific. I will retire soon and will travel to Europe again soon when I can. I want to live in Nice, France for a month. I visited there summer of 2019 and love it. I will travel to Spain. My husband has been there and love it. I will visit Mojaca where one of my brother-in-law loves to visit.

You are very lucky to live in such a nice place.

I think you did a fine job illustrating some of the architectural wonders and cuisine in the area of the world you inhabit. I get a sense of the community and the flat-topped roofs and coloured facades are most interesting to me, in addition to the omelette made with onion and peppers.

A most enjoyable read today and I hope you write more. :)

Gloria

Thank you for the tour of Adeje! Wow! It sounds like a wonderful place and you made it sound magical indeed. Our place is just the opposite climate-wise - cold and rainy. But we have friendly people here, too. If anyone fell, I'm sure any of these folks would come to the aid because we're a small town.

Hello Dolly.

The quaint picture of the shop reminds me of some of the shops I saw many years ago when I visited the Greek Islands. Having not been to the area you are in, I expect many of the surroundings are similar to what I've seen.

That is a very cool picture and description of the town.

Robert

Thank you Robert for your thoughtful review, the difference between the Greek Islands and the Canaries is mainly the climate, the Greek island has a micro climate and the Canaries are sub-tropical, you made my day with your words here, love Dolly x

    Hi Dolly.
Thank you for your kind comments.
After reading the story, I recalled my visits to the islands.

This article, Adeje Town, Santa Cruz de Teneri, makes me want to rob a bank, get my daughter to beef up my Spanish, move to this area, buy some volcano insurance, and settle down there.

I'm glad you took a departure from your poetry to write this account about your life in Adeje. It sounds like a beautiful place. The closeness of the mountains sounds like a big attraction for you. You also have a view of the sea. It sounds like such a peaceful place with friendly people. The cafes sound tempting. I think I'd like the Spanish omelet. The smell of the mint makes another interesting feature. This is an excellent description. It's easy to picture the things you wrote about, and you definitely give the impression that Adeje is very peaceful. judi

A wonderful discriptive writing about an exquisite little community. Sounds like just the town where I'd love to live. Thank you for this literary vacation to a remote and preserved village.

Spain is a gorgeous city at any time of the year. If you live on a volcanic rock do you ever feel that it wants to explode? I love to hear about your place of paradise/have you ever visited the United States of America? I know we have volcanic explosive rocks on the west coast of America.
