Thank you for sharing this story. It is very well-written and every parent can identify with your dismay at your daughter's prank(s). I am sure she has grown into a responsible and good-humoured adult!

Thank you Windy. I really appreciate you stopping by to review this. I like your comments. She has grown up without but she caused a few gray hairs in the process. LOL

Hi Beth. I see you continue to provide excellent imagery troughout this story. like here for instance:

"Sometimes we would go to Audubon Park and take Connie to the zoo, or to City Park where there was a petting zoo and playground equipment. Both parks had very old and beautiful live oak trees that spread their branches over the ground inviting children to climb among the limbs. If we did go to one of the parks, Connie always wanted to invite a friend along."

Bravo Beth. Bob

Teenagers! I had three at the same time too. They are hard to keep track of and out of trouble. It sounds like you had some troublesome days for a while. Thank goodness she was allowed to Graduate with her brother. Well done, Beth. Nancy:)

Lol. Kids can amaze you sometimes. She wanted to see her brother graduate so I don't blame her. Ho Ray for the one who dressed her as an old woman. Did Don go on with his singing?
Good one Beth.

Thank you for the review and comments. You might have been upset it was your kid that was taking a chance on not graduating after you'd spent all that money trying to get her a Christian education. I can laugh now. Yes Don continued singing. They didn't appreciate Elvis so much at the Christian collage he attended. It wasn't funny back then. I appreciate the six stars.

I do understand. I had three in Christian schools at once. Know the price, known the score. LOL.

Thank you for the review and comments. Kids are capable of creating stress. I'm not sure how we coped but I guess we came to expect that our lives would have stress. Thank for all the help with the corrections.

Yes indeed parenting can take us along many roads - but how life has changed and how different misdemeanours are these days - those were innocent days - an interesting chapter -tough being a parent these days -

Hehehe, Beth, how times have changed since then. Today, something like that would hardly have raised an eyebrow. All the same, I'm glad they booth graduated.
Connie aways wanted to invite a friend along. = Connie always wanted to invite a friend along.
I'm enjoying this story. Ulla:)))

Thank you for the review and comment. I'm glad you got a chuckle from this. I didn't find it funny at the time but now I do. Those Christian were very uptight about things back then. I'm sure they are more relaxed now. Thanks for noticing the typo.

Great chapter lots of giggles and drama. You do need to edit more closely. Others would mark you down to a 4 with all these silly errors. when (we)took Connie and her friend,

for some unknown [for ]reason.

We w[as](ere) relieved to know that both of my children had passed their finals

They informed us that she (was)not allowed

We were arra(n)[i]g[n]ing to make the trip

That evening, we sat in (the)auditorium

heard mu[m](r)mers around us
talked, in our behalf, to (the)school

Thank you so much for the review and comments. I usually have my daughter proof read this for me but she couldn't today. Thank you for the help with editing. Some had been corrected but you found four no one else notices.
