You've written a lovely poem here jose. The sentiments are heartfelt and beautifully expressed in that difficult bridge form. It shows your personal journey well while also being a universal comment on the power of God to transform lives. The metaphor of gardening, seeds and flowers works well. We can be two sunflowers smiling at each other.

    Ah, Jenny, :) I'm glad you liked this one. It took me a while to write. First, I wanted to bring out Edger Allen Poe, that didn't work. Then, I saw a pic of Marilyn Monroe, and I was on a roll! But... I changed it all around. :) I'm still going to write about that hot lady!

A very well-written poem that seems to be the Bridges poetry format that I learned from the Potlatch club today which uses the same syllable format and rhyming scheme.

You did such a beautiful job with conveying the struggles of the spiritual life here. God is the Gardener of all of us and Creation. We, in turn, are called to grow and nurture others to grow in the love we have received. Super job with your Bridges poem!

You have the gift to write wonderful lines, they touched my heart. one of my favorites is 'God made my that way." Now when I look at the blue sky and think of my loved ones residing in there...God made me that way. Even if they are in heaven, I still miss them...

A gardener is an angel. He takes care the lives of plants. He provides the nutrients that a plant needs. The health and beauty of a plant depends on the loving care of a Gardner. We are our own gardeners. What we turn out to be depends on our care.
