A wonderful tribute to a great man in history. Good rhyming and easy to read. I like those closing lines: "powerful and undefeated,
strong, unshakeable his tack."

Sir Winston Churchill was a great man, Dolly. I wish we had more men of his calibre today to lead our country out of chaos. Yet, all we have are asses who wish to be tyrants. The wind's blowing the wrong direction in this country. Thank you for sharing.

Nobody like Winston Churchill! A very developed human being. Highly conscious and caring. An amazing personality. Held the line steady in the roughest of situations. All hail!
Cheers!

This hectic heptad, Sir Winston Churchill, follows the defined formatting and lauds the great hero of Great Britain and the Allied Forces.

I really liked this Hectic Heptad, Dolly. Your artwork was great, your rhyme pattern was wonderful. I have no idea what inspired you to write about Sir Winston but it was well done, a good idea.

I think he was quite definitely Britain's. man for the hour in the war, he was a professional soldier, so basically he knew what he was dong. I don't know whether it's true or not, but apparently he got his support from the common folk on a train trip, but was virtually politically alone standing against his peers, but he was a hero among pollies, well done, blessings Roy

Hello Dolly.

Sir Winston is certainly one of my favorite personalities of history. I remember he gave the name "Iron Curtain" to the Soviet Union and its satellites states. He saw what many did not.

I remember when Obama took office, he removed the statue of Churchill from the White House office. I was appalled.

A wonderful write Dolly. I have long been an ardent fan of Churchill... even with all of his warts ;)... we all are imperfect, but what he did for England during WWII is amazing and deserves life-long respect. Your verse is very well written and supports this tribute perfectly.
