This is so touching, and a great entry for the love poem contest. A beautiful sonnet. Good luck in the contest. The narrator recalls the positive things of their life together--that their love furthered their climb and aspirations. Now that the narrator's loved one is gone, she feels adrift. But his memory will always be with her. Exquisitely worded. judi

A very well-written sonnet about love that sometimes come to An end physically but in our heart the love never departs and ourvp dreams of romance never end.

This work has reached the exceptional level
This was a gorgeous sonnet, Dolly, you know how much I love that form.

You did the form justice, your iambic pentameter is at the right place, and you have a nice turn in the 9th line. Those words of love are powerful, and I can relate to every word. Reminds me of many of my own sonnets.

Gorgeous presentation; best of luck in the contest.

This reads as a reflection and a recollection of your husband. I like the sentiment because that never changes when a loved one passes. What changes is, they're not here.

This is a beautiful written poem about your husband who sadly passed away. I think this is for him. You have had a long and fruitful marriage. I'm glad for you and also sad that he is gone prematurely.

Dreams can embroider memories by painting pictures, but it appears that your husband was a one-in-a-million companion. Your phrases of gratitude for your much-missed husband's loving support flow poetically to make this a lovely poem.
